Have you heard about  the lost paradise in Iran? Nearly most of visitors who travel to the West of Iran may know about Marivan, a very small town with a very nice and worm people with a population around 165,664 .They named it lost paradise because of the glamorous lake, Zerivar, which is outside the town,and it is not very far so people can get there very easily  by feet or car and it takes them for about half an hour.

The area around the lake has been developed very well  for tourists. Willow trees have been planted in some areas with seats where people can sit and enjoy watching a very nice view of the waves especially in the sunset while a very nice and smooth breeze is coming and shake the long leaves that is quite visionary so this is the reasons why Zerivar causes Marivan to be most attractive place for tourists both in local and global scales.

On the other side of the lake you can see that, there are many nice pergolas for families so they can enjoy watching lake from the hill. Tourist can do boat riding for $1 per hour. This lake is popular with all kinds of people. Tourist can enjoy theater, juggling and some kind of competition which just for fun  like throwing  plastic rings at some glasses which they have a mount of money or the name of some kitchen tools like vacuum cleaners,juicers! On the other side of the lake, there are so many places for kids which they can play skating rink, swinging and so on.

At Zerivar there are some little restaurants which one of them is so famous for it’s fish that they had taken from the lake freshly in the early morning and the chief cook the fishes with oil and coals, the fishes has very nice smell and are so yummy especially when you are hungry and you walk around this little restaurant so the smell of this cooked fishes are temptation to buy and try tasting them   and they just costs for about $8 each. There is also other kind of fast food like different kinds of sandwiches for those people don’t like the taste of the fish.

For that tourist who comes from long distance there are many motels and luxury hotel with very good services and very cheap prices so they can spend some days in that places which they can have their breakfast in the front of their windows with a very nice view of lake in their room or they can also order traditional food  for example Dolme, klane or other kind of national foods.Tourists also can use tent in the lake area if they want.

Marivan is a border town and because of this everything is cheap there with a good quality from other country close to it. Marivan is a very suitable decision for a short holiday about one week and so many people from other city or other country choose Marivan because of the nice and springy weather.  Tourists will spend a fantastic time there.
